20 Hy-Vee stores across the metropolitan Kansas City area worked with City Union Mission to host the annual Stuff a Truck event. Nearly 200 volunteers gave of their time to distribute vouchers to customers of the Hy-Vee stores this past weekend. The customers gave the vouchers to the cashiers stating the number of meals they would like to purchase to benefit City Union Mission's clients. Most customers were very receptive to the idea of providing a meal to someone in need. Some said they were already partnering with City Union Mission.

Thank you to Hy-Vee for helping to coordinate this tremendous effort for the homeless. A special thank you to the volunteers, who so willingly gave up their time to benefit those less fortunate.
