City Union Mission thrift stores and Sheffield Family Life Center invite you to the Second Chance Thrift Store Fashion show on Friday, August 15th at 7 p.m. This fun-filled event will take place at Sheffield Family Life Center at 5700 Winner Road, Kansas City Missouri 64127. There is NO admission charge.

Are you currently a regular shopper of thrift stores? Or maybe you've never stepped inside a thrift store because you've wondered about the quality of the merchandise. Either way you will want to attend the Second Chance Thrift Store Fashion show.
 
Local designer and fashion consultant, Sheila Walker will model quality clothing that would be an asset to any wardrobe. She will be modeling thriftstore fashions as well as fashions designed by some of Kansas City’s very own designers.

Information tables will be set up so you can learn more about the Sheffield Family Life Center and the City Union Mission. You'll learn about the impact that these groups are having on the local community. Local businesses will be on hand to talk to you about their goods and services as well.

Your donations provide clothing and other items for our poor or homeless clients. They also provide a source of low-cost items for the community at large.

Proceeds go to the general fund of City Union Mission to provide clothing, food, shelter, education, and other services that we offer to the poor or homeless.
