May 1 and 8 over 100 UPS managers and employees from all over the United States came to City Union Mission and volunteered their time by cleaning, painting, organizing and re-habing our warehouse and Transitional Living Apartments.
"Employees of UPS came ready to work...the bus arrived on both work days and they all got off the bus with gloves in hand and a work attitude," said Mike Feekin, Facilities Director of City Union Mission. "They saved the mission hundreds of dollars in labor time, and they all worked as hard as they could. The warehouse and apartments did not even look the same. They are great workers!"

"We love working with City Union Mission and "Magnificent Mike"! We were happy that our group could help you -- it made us all feel really good," said Karen Cole of UPS. "The work that City Union Mission does for needy men, women and children is wonderful -- you are doing such great things for your community! We wish you continued success and thank you for the opportunity to give back!"
"UPS has been a Corporate Champion for Hope for several years," said Shawna Ketter, Corporate Relations Specialist. "They have a real heart for giving back to the less fortunate and their time spent has truly made a difference in the lives of many men, women and children who are poor and homeless...for that we are grateful!"
