On March 28th from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. we will have a special event to show our appreciation to the Church Ambassadors and the churches they represent; the event will be an “After Hours” celebration at the Second Chance Thrift store located at 7740 South Wornall Road in Kansas City, MO. During this time, guests will have a chance to shop for discounted items, win prizes, meet City Union Mission staff, and learn about other programs going on at the Mission.

The Church Ambassador program has been an effective way for local churches to partner with City Union Mission. Church Ambassadors are responsible for communicating between the local church and the mission, sharing current needs, prayer requests and other special events. They also spend time coordinating events and drives, and raising awareness at their church about City Union Mission.
