Tracy Williams and Tom Stubes, both from Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, came to the Presence of Love event on December 1st.  “This is my first time here,” says Tom.  “I’m amazed at all the things City Union Mission is doing.”  Tracy adds, “I really like how you have the New Life Program clients involved in today’s event and telling a bit of their stories.  That would have to be healing.” 

New Life Program clients were tour guides for the Family Center and for the building that houses the New Life Program.

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church has been partnering with City Union Mission for five years.  “I’m on the mission’s committee and work with our Awana’s,” says Tracy.  “Every month we participate in some drive.  I just look on your website to find the greatest need and we do that.  We want to challenge the kids to think about what it really means to be a follower of Christ, and to think about why we partner with the mission.  City Union Mission has stayed true to the gospel, and that what brings healing.  We want the kids to understand that.”
