College Graduate Foregoes Gifts
Collects Towels for Camp CUMCITO
July 20, 2006

A recent college graduate, Crystal Lazar, selflessly chose to celebrate her graduation by doing something for the poor and homeless. Crystal requested family and friends to bring towels, in lieu of graduation gifts, as she graciously decided to collect towels to benefit children going to Camp CUMCITO this summer.

Crystal’s family and friends complied. As a result, 57 beautiful towels were collected and delivered to the Mission. Many young campers are enjoying the use of these  towels, because Crystal cared enough to put their needs ahead of her own.
