An Arm Reaching Out
Since 1924 City Union Mission has been bringing the light of hope to the poor or homeless in our city. Every day hundreds of men, women, and children are welcomed through our doors. It is our goal here that each person leave having felt the love of Jesus. Not only are they able to have their physical needs met, but they have an opportunity to have their spiritual needs met through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The local church is a major piece in putting these lives back together.
If you have a heart for the lost and hurting, I want to encourage you that we have a vast mission field right here in our own backyard! I would like to challenge you to step out and respond to the call to reach out and serve these precious souls known as God's Human Sparrows. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us in the work of the ministry and in making an eternal impact for God's Kingdom!

What’s the Next Step?
If you would like to get involved in this wonderful ministry, there are three things you will need to do:
- PRAY: This is a ministry that is not to be taken lightly. It will require hard work, time, and dedication. However, you will find that the blessings you receive in the end will far outweigh any of the responsibilities.
- CALL: Call 816-329-1466 or e-mail linda.jeffries@cumission.org for more information on how you can partner with us as a Church Ambassador.
- GET INVOLVED AND ENGAGED: If you feel like the Lord is leading you to this path, then together we will begin the process of getting your church involved in reaching the poor and homeless, here in Kansas City, for God’s Kingdom.
- INVITE YOUR PASTOR: You can invite your pastor to attend a Pastor's Luncheon here at the mission. During this time he will get lunch, take a tour of the facility and the new CLP Building, and then he will get to ask questions about the mission and find out how to partner with City Union Mission.
