They've Touched Our City
April 17, approximately 600 compassionate women joined together at our premier Women Who’ve Changed the Heart of the City benefit luncheon at Starlight Theatre. Thanks to their generosity and that of other City Union Mission friends, more than $300,000 was raised!
Funds from this first annual event will be used to complete much-needed renovations at our campgrounds in Warsaw, Missouri, where each summer hundreds of homeless and impoverished children escape the grind of their daily lives and experience God’s unconditional love.
During the luncheon event, we had the privilege of recognizing women whose vision and work have influenced generations and helped shape the heart of Kansas City, including the Mission’s co-founder, the late Beaulah Bulkley.
