Churches in Action
At City Union Mission, Church Ambassadors are our hearts, hands and voices extending into their communities of faith.
This month, several Church Ambassadors spread the word about back-to-school needs of homeless and near-homeless children, and their church bodies responded.
- Lenexa Baptist Church collected highlighters and combination locks.
- Abundant Life Baptist Church donated tissues and pink erasers.
- Blue Springs Assembly of God gathered underwear and craft kits.
Thanks to these caring partners, impoverished kids can start their school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed!
