Compassion in Action - Cindy Williams
Cindy Williams’ first day at City Union Mission was January 2, 1979. Since then her position as part-time office assistant has grown and evolved, and today she serves as Donor Records Specialist.
Every financial gift shared with the Mission is carefully recorded and receipted, a "nuts and bolts" task Cindy understands is critical to our ability to restore hope for the homeless and poor.
"It takes money to run the Mission and thanking our donors for their contributions is very important. If it wasn’t for the generosity of our donors, the Mission would not be here."
To stay in touch with the people we serve, Cindy helps the Family Center staff organize children for their camp physicals and volunteers during our Christmas gift distribution.
