Primary Camp - July 24-29
July 27thThe day started with a light rain, but by swim and lake time it had stopped enough for the kids to jump into the day's activities. Please pray for continued good weather so the campers can enjoy the outdoors.
Big Camp Prayer Requests:- A counselor had a friend severely burned in an oil well fire on Tuesday and they are now at KU Med. The injured friend's co-worker was killed in the accident.
- Please pray that the kids will show respect to the cabin staff.
- One of the female campers is not obeying her leaders and is fighting with other girls in her cabin.
- A male camper keeps asking for prayer about some terrible family conditions at home.
- Pray for exhausted staff to take every thought captive.
- Pray for counselors to let go of their expectations.
- Pray that homesickness among the boys would go away.
- Pray that a counselor's sore back would be healed.
- Pray for wisdom in teaching the Bible.
- Pray for a counselor having trouble communicating with a child.
- Pray for a counselor that is tired and on the verge of getting sick.
- Pray that counselors would pace themselves.
