Use CUMCITO for your next Event or Retreat
Camp CUMCITO provides the ideal setting for events or retreats. Our facilities will accommodate your church group, organization, family, or individuals comfortably.
Availability
Camp CUMCITO is available early August through Memorial Day. Tours are available. For more information contact the Camp office in Kansas City at (816) 329-1423 or e-mail dena@cumission.org.
Location
Camp CUMCITO is only 5 miles West of Warsaw, MO less than 2 hours from Springfield, Columbia and Kansas City.
Lodging/Food Service
Ruth's Lodge and Grable Lodge (both have 24 beds in 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, and meeting areas); cabins with half bath; cabins and trailers with full bath; dining areas.
The following are provided as a part of the rental:
- Tableware
- Silverware
- Appliances
- Toilet paper.
Linens, towels and food are not provided.
Guest groups are responsible for cleaning the facilities assigned to them before their departure.
Site Activities
On our property (nearly 500 acres), there are extensive trails; a pond with canoes, paddleboats, and fish; areas for field games, camping out, target sports, basketball, bonfires, team building activities and meetings.

Local Attractions
Fast food, quaint restaurants, Super Wal-Mart (Warsaw); Truman Reservoir (boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, golfing, disc golfing, rock climbing, nature/bird watching, etc.)
Limitations
- You must provide your own food, equipment for activities, and linens.
- Pets are not allowed in buildings and must be pre-approved to be on-grounds.
- Additional restrictions apply to special circumstances.
Some activities require CUMCITO qualified activity facilitators.
- Archery Range - Bales of hay are provided, but a facilitator is required if CUMCITO equipment will be used.
- Challenge Course - A facilitator is required for safety purposes.
- Chapel - A facilitator or training is required if CUMCITO equipment will be used.

Fees
Fees are structured in three different ways: per person, per hour or per facility.
Per Person Per Day
(Maximum is $24 per day per Household with parents present)

Adults - $9.50 per person per night/day/24 hr

Teens (13-19) - $9.50 per person per night/day/24 hr

Children (4-12) - $6 per child per night/day/24 hr

Children under 3 yrs (free)
